Palm is inspired by the fluid sweeping foliage found in nature. Arranged in such a way as to allow light diffusion from above and below each leaf, the light is an ideal solution for both down and up lighting.
377 Is similar in a way with the 1597, Janne was inspired by the connections between mathematics and the laws of nature in his design of the 377.
Vasarely is inspired by the 3D work of the graphic artist Victor Vasarely. The design is an unusual and lively texture bulging out of a traditional perfect square that gives a real 3D effect.

Falicon is inspired by 3D flexible structures and its shape is that of the mystical and emblematic pyramid.
Falicon is a city in France where the first European pyramid was built.
The Spin Light series is inspired by the tracing of planetary movement. It has only been recently possible to track exact coordinates of these harmonious movements which, once united, reassemble to create beautiful spinning patterns, geometrically perfect in form.

Monarch Stools are a study for organic but decorative lattice structures for furniture. T he 5 stools are different in size, but stack over each other. Laser sintered in one production run.
The Trabecula Bench was inspired by the inner side and low-density part of bird bones. The structure is lightweight, but the 3 dimensional structure makes it extremely strong.

I don't think we've begun to started to explore the possibilities of this technology in terms of its applications in medicine and science or design but that they can also make stunning art and sculpture too is a beautiful thing.

Isn't it just wonderful! For an exhibition in NYC he not only made more lighting using the laser sintering technology he also made a dress that I would have snapped up were I younger and more daring. I am so glad you like!
